2886 AISLink Personal AIS Man Overboard BeaconAdvanced Automatic Identification System (AIS) technology comes to the rescue with this compact and affordable man overboard beacon with integrated Digital Selective Calling (DSC) and GPS. Unlike a personal locator beacon, which signals orbiting search and rescue satellites, AISLink sends an alert message within seconds to all local vessels with an AIS receiver and/or AIS-enabled plotter. The DSC alarm on your vessel's VHF can also be count in a man overboard situation. The AISLink MOB automatically activates upon inflation of the lifejacket, sending an initial alert within 15 seconds to all AIS receivers and plotters in the vicinity. Both positioning and MOB emergency messages are transmitted alerting vessels up to 5 miles away of your emergency in moderate seas, it is alarming how quickly a visual sighting of a man overboard can be lost. The AISLink MOB's integrated GPS quickly pinpoints a precise location and transmits this as part of the AIS alert message to all local AIS equipped vessels. The AISLink MOB also has the ability to alert your crew to the emergency by activating the DSC alarm on your vessel's VHF. All AIS receivers and AIS-enabled plotters within a 5-mile radius (dependent on conditions) are alerted, and an integrated high-intensity strobe light assists with accurate positioning even in low light conditions. Powerful lithium metal batteries provide 24+ hours of operational life, and the high-impact housing can withstand a drop to water of 20m. Compatibility: Note that most modern AIS plotters and DSC VHF units comply with the standards for receiving MOB transmissions. However, it is recommended that you check with your equipment manufacturer to ensure compatibility. DSC functionality may vary - or be disabled entirely - according to the regulations of individual countries. We offer a few Faster Shipping Options, including next-day and 2-day air delivery, for most items. Shipping upgrade options and fees vary, so make sure to select your preferred upgrade during the checkout process, or, as always, you can call us for more details.
Your purchase will be shipped to the address provided on the payment means provided. If you paid using your PayPal, your order will be shipped to the address that appears on your PayPal account. If paying with a credit card, your order will be shipped to the address provided on your credit card statement.
We offer free same day shipping within 48 states within the US. Exceptions are the states of Alaska and Hawaii, as well as Puerto Rico, Guam, Palau, and Virgin Islands, PO Box and APO/FPO Address, or any other address outside the Lower 48 States. For those areas, please calculate the shipping cost using USPS Priority Mail as the Shipping option in the shipping calculator.
Same day shipping relates to orders that have been paid during the weekdays of Monday to Friday by 9:00 am EST. Orders that have been paid during Saturday and Sunday will be shipped on Monday.
APO/FPO addresses and other U.S. territories.
For the most part, orders will be delivered to APO/FPO addresses and U.S. territories (other than Puerto Rico) via Priority Mail for our standard shipping rates. Please allow extra time for delivery when choosing Priority Mail.
Canada Customers
If you select UPS Standard as your shipping carrier, please be aware that there are UPS Brokerage charges in addition to the Duties and taxes that apply upon delivery.
International Customers

At Road Entertainment we pride ourselves with our 60-day return policy -- which is double the amount of the industry standard. This means that at any point following two months after a purchase, you can return the product for a full and quick refund.
This 60-day grace period, double the industry standard of a 30-days return policy, has been implemented at Road Entertainment based upon the indication suggested by some consumer-behavior studies, that it takes up to sixty days for the average person to decisively know if an electronic product actually suits their specific needs and serves the desired results.
How to return an item?
If the need for returning an item arises, either because of a change in mind or in the unlikely event of the product arriving with a defect, you can do so by following a few short and simple steps.
Get your Return Authorization.
You can call us or simply email asking for the Return Authorization. Please call if the return involves a defective product.
Place the item, it's accessories and manuals in the original packaging.
Note, use the original over-box and the manufacturer's packaging. Over-boxes are being used for the purpose of protecting the merchandise during the process of shipping and handling. So please be sure to use them when returning an item.
Attach the shipping label.
In most cases, we will be providing you with a UPS Authorized Return Service (ARS) shipping label with your return authorization number. Remove or mark out the original labels, and secure one completed label to each package.
Drop the package off with UPS or USPS.
