This 287 page large format book is an invaluable addition to the knowledge about the Indian Wars of the American west.  This was the first time they were published, 1975, by The Old Army Press.  This organization was established after the turn of the century and attracted input from officers who were present and deeply involved in various campaigns.  I have included a picture of the insides of the dust jacket which give a good description of the content as well as info on the authors.  The book is in VG condition, the dust jacket has the one nick out of the top as can be seen in the photo.  A rare first edition with fantastic info.
